Teleri’s love of sport started from a young age competing in swimming, running, hockey and tennis to name a few, spending time in America coaching tennis and as a ski instructor. Her career in coaching started in 2005, alongside gaining experience as a coach she followed an educational path to increase her knowledge in Strength and Conditioning, earning a Masters (MSc) degree from Edinburgh University in 2007 following completion of her BSc (Hons) in Sport and Exercise Science at Northumbria University.

Her career to date has seen her head up Strength and Conditioning at Leeds Met Carnegie for all sports with professional and amateur athletes, for the English Institute of Sport and for Sport England. She has vast experience working with national and international sports men and women and working as a consultant coach for England Golf, British Fencing, the LTA, England Women’s FA, England Women’s RFU, England Badminton amongst others. Athletes Teleri has worked personally with include members of the Women’s Rugby World Cup winners' squad and members of England Ladies Football team. More recently in her career she worked specifically in Youth Athletic Development, an area which Teleri has huge passion for and continues to enjoy offering the opportunities to train young talent here at F.I.T.

Away from coaching Teleri loves spending time with her two small children, dog and, of course husband, representing Morpeth Ladies 1stXI Hockey at the weekends.

Nathan developed his interest in Strength and Conditioning following his basketball career, during which he represented Wales and competed internationally. He gained a BSc (Hons) in Sport, Health and Physical Education from Bangor University prior to completing his Certified Personal Trainer, Performance Enhancement Specialist and Corrective Exercise Specialist qualifications with the National Academy for Sports Medicine. Alongside his professional coaching he gained full accreditation with the UK Strength and Conditioning Association (ASCC) to enable him to deliver training at the highest level.

Nathan has coached in a variety of professional environs, notably as Lead Strength and Conditioning Coach for the Sheffield Eagles Academy Squad reaching the Championship Grand Final during his tenure. Personally, he has recently won a Silver Medal at the British Masters Weightlifting Tournament.

Nathan has a real passion for improving health and well-being, improving fitness, strength and speed so that better movement is achieved. Away from coaching and competing, Nathan loves spending time with his wife Laura, watching movies and eating enormous burgers!

Dani is a keen sports woman, representing Durham County Cricket team from the age of 13 all the way up to senior age level, captaining the senior team at the age of 17. Dani’s interest in sport saw her attend Loughborough University where she studied Sports Management and represented both the Ladies Cricket 1stXI and Ladies Rugby 1stXV. During her time at university she found a passion for Strength and Conditioning.

After university, Dani took to powerlifting. She competed in the 2014 British and European competitions and set a world Record for the Bench press, at 60kg having a body weight of 52kg in the U23 age category. She then followed her dream of traveling to Australia, where she lived and played professional cricket for 6 months. On her return Dani completed a Strength and Conditioning Internship at Durham University, working with a variety of athletes and sports teams from rowing to rugby and athletics. Dani is currently in the process of working towards gaining full accreditation as a UKSCA Strength and Conditioning Coach.

Lisa’s passion for Strength and Conditioning began when she was a student-athlete at Leeds Metropolitan University where she studied Sports & Exercise Therapy and played Rugby Union. It was here that her love for training and lifting began through the Strength and Conditioning support delivered to the University team. She went on to study her Masters degree in Strength and Conditioning at Northumbria University as a scholarship athlete. During her Masters, she interned for Team Northumbria, working with Rugby Union, Football and Netball Super League in addition to Sunderland FC Regional Talent Club and Newcastle Falcons Junior Academy. On completing her studies, Lisa began working for Sheffield Hallam University where she was the lead S&C coach for a range of sports including Rowing, Badminton, Squash, Tennis, Canoe, Climbing and Equestrian.

Lisa has played rugby since she was 14, now playing in the Tyrell’s 15’s Premiership for Darlington Mowden Park Sharks and earned her 1stinternational cap for Scotland in 2018. Alongside F.I.T, Lisa works for Northumbria University coaching Rugby League, Women’s Basketball and a Sprint Hurdler.
